

Using AP drains cores more quickly, so I don't want to make heavy use of VATS or Sprinting, and none of the perks here are interesting. Hacker (also non-negotiable), Scrapper, Science, and Nuclear Physicist are my interests here.

Here for Local Leader and Lone Wanderer. Lifegiver and Toughness are nice, but I can boost my stats as needed later on to get them they're not a core of the build. Refractor is also interesting, but Power Armor is pretty durable, so I can probably get away without it. This is a must-have perk for me, so this is non-negotiable. I'll probably boost this to 5 later so I can pick up Heavy Gunner, as I want to mess around with the Gatling Laser and the Flamer eventually. This is for Armorer, since you need that to upgrade your Power Armor.

Combine that with the new Power Armor system, and I really want to make a Power Armored Energy Weapon Specialist build in this game. I've been running a character who uses guns (a Pistol for most work, and a Sniper Rifle for distance work), but I had a lot of fun with my Energy Weapon Specialist in New Vegas.
